Special Adventure Camp (SAC) in Liechtenstein from 3-6 August 2017

International football offers more!

We perform the Special Adventure Camp already for the 12th time. Young people with mental and/or physical impairments participate at a football camp on the sports field Widau in Ruggell, adapted especially for their special needs.

2017 we welcome 12 Special Needs Teams, four local and eight international teams. We are especially pleased, that we could build up a football team with the regional curative school, which will participate in the colors of Liechtenstein for the first time.

Also this year we want to carry out different activities at and besides the football field. In addition to football trainings and tournaments with local children from ordinary schools and football clubs, we organized an exciting framework program like a boat trip, falcon show, but also a delicious food party. According to the motto ‘Inclusion’ we dismantle fears of contact and making encounters possible.

Additionally, the SAC’s offer a platform for an exchange of knowledge of trainer and coaches and its effect is especially sustainable and wide spreading. The trainers of the camp will be provided by the attending clubs. They will perform trainings adapted to the special needs of the youth. SV Werder Bremen and the English clubs engage for impaired people and let us share their knowledge and experience since a long time.

We also offer the participants the new possibility to assume the organization of a training session assisted by a professional trainer. In the long-term they can assume responsibility as trainer in the area of disabled sports. The integration into the association work enables people with disabilities to gain personal and professional autonomy.

The inclusion into the International U16 Cup will allow the young participants to show their new gained skills under competitive conditions and open the mind for new perspectives for the visitors and the football players of the International U16 Cup.

We are looking forward to the holding of the Special Adventure Camp 2017, with both meeting old friends and making new ones. FIM – together we are stronger.
