A tournament that combines competitive sport and social commitment
The International Helvetia Cup - Football for Inclusion enables the new generation of Swiss footballers to compete with top international teams.
The International Helvetia Cup - Football for Inclusion is aimed at youth with and without disabilities and brings together:

an international tournament for youth with intellectual and/or physical disabilities

a tournament for amputee football teams
-
a regional junior and women's football tournament
-
an international U17 tournament featuring a Special Guest Team from a developing country or crisis region
-
an inclusion tournament where all football enthusiasts of all ages with and without disabilities are invited to participate
The goal of the project is to promote inclusion through play and build mutual understanding. To this end, we harness the potential that games and sports offer - because football brings people together!

In addition to children and young people with disabilities, Switzerland’s top youth players and teams also benefit from this unique event, as do the members and officials of the special guest team. The INTERNATIONAL HELVETIA U16 CUP fosters understanding and inclusion on several levels – and thus remains a lasting memory for all participants.
Uniqueness of the project
Football is more than just a sport. It promotes health and teaches important values such as fairness, teamwork, respect, and tolerance. Football brings people together and overcomes barriers. With its power, it can significantly improve the lives of children and teenagers. For this reason, we use football as a key element to achieve our goals and promote inclusion.
