As part of our ongoing efforts to promote social responsibility and inclusion, we are delighted to present the FOOTBALL IS MORE Golf Charity Tournament 2024.
The main aim of the tournament is to promote inclusion through playing golf together. Participants will have the opportunity to play for a good cause and generate revenue that will go directly to projects for children and young people with disabilities to support the social initiatives of the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation.
The tournament consists of 8 flights of 4 players each and is played on a 9-hole golf course at the Axenstein Golf Club in Morschach. The idea is to give people with physical and/or mental disabilities the opportunity to play golf and at the same time to play a tournament tailored to their needs with experienced golfers.
We are delighted that golf has found a place in our repertoire as a sport. It should be emphasised that a handicap does not always have to be a ‘handicap’.
Through this golf tournament, the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation wants to create a community in which inclusion is actively practised. The participants should feel like winners because they are committed to a good cause. It is therefore important not only to talk about inclusion, but to live it directly.
We will also take the opportunity to present the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation in the evening and highlight our valuable work in the area of inclusion.
We are looking forward to some great moments when the tournament opens on 6 September 2024 at 12:00 noon with a cannon blast and then at the end it's ‘Tee off’.
