A busy week at FIM – two events, two powerful statements for lived inclusion.

Thursday, 19. June
Together with the Football Association of Central Switzerland (IFV), we organised an inclusion match as part of the IFV Cup Final Day, which brought together all junior boys’ and girls’ categories. Hosted by FC Baar, the match featured players from FC Bruschgol, VfB Stuttgart – Brustring der Herzen, and youth players from FC Baar, mixed into two teams who played an exciting 2 x 20-minute game. The final score was secondary – the focus was on team spirit, respect, and the pure joy of football. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this special moment possible!
Sunday, 22. June
The weekend continued with another highlight: at the legendary Grümpelturnier in Appenzell, the team from VfB Stuttgart – Brustring der Herzen faced a team from FC Appenzell, made up of players with disabilities. The match was filled with emotion, fairness, and genuine passion for the game. A powerful reminder of how football brings people together – regardless of background, ability, or circumstances. A big thank you to FC Appenzell for providing the perfect setting and such a welcoming atmosphere!
