FOOTBALL IS MORE transforms the Gründenmoos sports complex into an inclusive festival site, welcoming 28 international squads for football, education labs, and shared city experiences.
Across four days the camp finances accessible travel, safeguarding, medical support, and adaptive equipment so that every athlete, carer, and family can participate with dignity.
745 direct beneficiaries include 160 athletes with disabilities from 12 inclusive teams, 50 young amputee players and 35 carers, elite U17 women’s and men’s squads, and 200 walking football players of every age.
The programme blends erlebnispädagogische modules, workshops, and mentor sessions to boost physical and mental health, social cohesion, and public awareness for inclusion.
Coaches, carers, and volunteers complete targeted training so they leave with practical tools to sustain inclusive sport long after the final whistle.
