FOOTBALL IS MORE

15 Years – 15 Stories

Story 1: The Founding

An idea guided by the values of diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusion — a more inclusive world — was founded!

After an intensive 18-month preparation phase led by Hanspeter Rothmund, the FOOTBALL IS MORE foundation was established on 17 June 2011 and officially entered in the commercial register.

The foundation was established in Vaduz together with the following board members (from left to right):

Benedikt Weibel, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Buschmann, Holger Roth, Hanspeter Rothmund, H.E. Constantin von und zu Liechtenstein (†), Johann Jakob.

What began back then was driven by a clear and powerful vision — and it still holds true today:

Our vision is a liveable, inclusive world in which all people live self-determined lives in dignity.

Through our work, we want to contribute to a society in which all people are given the opportunity to realise their potential, develop their individual talents, and shape their lives according to their own ideas and wishes.

15 years later, this vision is more relevant than ever.

And that was the opening story of a successful FIM family spanning 15 years. ⚽✨
