The FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation is delighted to welcome Swiss football manager Giorgio Contini as its new ambassador.
Giorgio Contini stands for experience, clarity and human leadership: values the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation lives every day.
As a player he made 359 appearances and scored 95 goals between 1992 and 2005, becoming Swiss champion in 1999/2000. As a manager he has since taken charge of 244 Super League matches, a Swiss record, and won six titles.
Some stories come full circle. The FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation was founded in Vaduz in 2011. A year later, Giorgio Contini took charge of FC Vaduz and wrote the most successful chapter in the club’s history, with promotion to the Super League and four Liechtenstein Cups.
With his role as ambassador of the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation, another figure from professional football is sending a strong signal for inclusion, equal opportunity and social cohesion.
