A Warm Welcome to the FIM-Family, FC Solothurn!

FC Solothurn, a club rich in tradition, stands for a broadly based football culture, committed and professional youth development, and the conviction that football brings people together.

With FC Solothurn Plus, the club also has its own team for people with disabilities, which, under the leadership of coach Pascal Tanner and his coaching team, sets a valuable example of inclusion in practice and of social participation.

The FC Solothurn Plus team has already been a guest at various FOOTBALL IS MORE projects. Out of these first shared encounters a long-term partnership is now growing: FC Solothurn is becoming an official member of the FIM-Family.

Together we want to develop and deliver inclusive education, awareness and sports programmes, both within the club and in cooperation with schools, social institutions, organisations and further partners in the Solothurn region. In addition, FC Solothurn will in future take part in various FOOTBALL IS MORE projects, among them the Swiss Inclusion League, the Special Adventure Camps and Days as well as various training and continuing education programmes.

Our shared aim is to create lasting structures and new spaces for encounter, in which people with and without disabilities learn from one another, are active together and experience real belonging.

We are looking forward to an enriching partnership, to many valuable encounters, and to advancing inclusive development in the region together with FC Solothurn for the long term.
