Looking Back on the Swiss Inclusion League in Winterthur!

What a special Saturday! Last weekend FOOTBALL IS MORE, in cooperation with the SFL, had the pleasure of hosting the third matchday of the 2026 Swiss Inclusion League in Winterthur, and together we experienced a day full of sport, encounters and inclusion in action.

The following teams took part:

• – FC Winterthur Inklusion
• – FC St. Gallen 1879
• – FC Aarau Traktor azb
• – FC Basel
• – FC Zürich Brunau
• – GC Zürich Unified
• – FC Bruschgol
• – FC Appenzell
• – FC Solothurn
• – Camaleonti – AC Taverne
• – ASSG – Servette FC
• – FC Fortuna St. Gallen

Straight after the Swiss Inclusion League, a walking football tournament took place with guests from business and politics as well as sporting legends. The focus was not only on exciting matches and sporting performances, but above all on fairness, respect, team spirit and togetherness. It was wonderful to see how much commitment, enthusiasm and passion everyone involved brought to the day.

The Swiss Inclusion League sees itself as an exemplary project close to our hearts, one that has developed continuously since its pilot phase around a year and a half ago, always in close exchange with the participating teams. FOOTBALL IS MORE and the Swiss Football League want to keep shaping this path together with the teams in future as well. In doing so we attach great importance to open and constructive exchange, to promoting inclusion together, and to offering the participating athletes the best possible platform for their sporting and personal development. The aim is to use the power of football to strengthen inclusion and to promote fairness, tolerance, team spirit, respect and discipline.

A big thank you to the host club FC Winterthur and to the players, coaches, helpers, fans and supporters who made this day possible and turned it into something special.

«together we are stronger»
