Scope of the processing of personal data

Our processing of personal data of our users is limited to the data that are necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users takes place only for the purposes agreed with them or if there is another legal basis (within the meaning of the GDPR). Only such personal data is collected that is actually necessary for the implementation and processing of our tasks and services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.

Your rights (data subject rights)

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can obtain information about the processing purposes, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, data transfer [1 ] , the origin of your data, if we have not collected it, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling.

You also have the right to revoke any consent you may have given to the use of your personal data at any time.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us contradicts the applicable data protection regulations, you have the opportunity to complain to the data protection office.

Visitor usage data

Each time you visit our website, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer.

The following data is collected:

  • Information about the browser type and the version used

  • The user's operating system

  • The user's internet service provider

  • The user's IP address

  • Date and time of access

  • Internet pages from which the user's system reached our website

We store this information for a maximum period of 365 days. The storage takes place for reasons of data security in order to guarantee the stability and the operational safety of our system.

Google Analytics

“Google Analytics”, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA, is used on our website to evaluate website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies (see point 2) that are stored on your computer. The information contained therein about the website and internet usage of the visitor can be processed and evaluated by Google.

The data collected by Google may be transmitted by Google to countries outside the EU and the EEA, in particular the USA. However, Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield Framework. Cookies

We use cookies on our website in order to make our offer more user-friendly. Cookies are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. The cookies remain stored until you delete them. This enables us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and that you allow them in individual cases. We would like to point out, however, that deactivation means that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

The legal basis for the data processed by cookies is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit.f GDPR.

The cookies remain valid for one year and are then deleted by your browser.

Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will immediately send an e-mail containing a hyperlink to the e-mail address provided. By clicking on this link, you confirm your newsletter registration (double opt-in procedure). If this confirmation of registration is not received within two weeks, we will delete the e-mail address from our temporary list and registration has not been made.

Confirm the newsletter registration, give your consent to the storage of your e-mail address including the date of entry, IP address and the list name of the desired newsletter. We use your e-mail address and the personal data collected at the same time only for the administration and sending of the newsletter you have requested, at the frequency specified when you registered.

Our newsletters do not contain any obvious or hidden counters, third-party advertisements or links to third-party sites that are not directly related to the content of our newsletter.

Each newsletter contains a note on how you can unsubscribe from the newsletter.

File downloads (e.g. software / pdf files)

We do not require any personal information from you so that you can download files from our website.

Social plugins (e.g. Facebook, Twitter etc.)

All integrated social plugins work using the 2-click process; This means that the recording of your surfing behavior by a plugin only starts when you activate the corresponding plugin by clicking on it. If you are logged in to your Facebook account at the same time as visiting our website, for example, Facebook registers the page visit after activating the plug-in (first click) and can assign this visit to your user account.

Data security

We use the widespread SSL or SSL within the website visit. TLS encryption in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http: //” to “https: //” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

In addition, we use other suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

The status of this data protection declaration is indicated by the date (below). We reserve the right to change this data protection declaration at any time with effect for the future. A change occurs in particular in the event of technical adjustments to the online offer or in the event of changes in data protection regulations.
