Four intense and heartwarming days are behind us – from Tuesday to Friday, Brunnen became a place where inclusion came to life. People with and without impairments came together to play, laugh, learn from one another – and despite the rain, the energy and joy never faded!

Wednesday was all about awareness and education. Together with the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) and MPS Ingenbohl, we organised an inspiring school day full of interaction and learning. At first, some of the students were understandably hesitant – unsure of how to approach or interact. But as the day progressed and they spent more time together, those initial reservations faded. The more contact there was, the more everyone opened up – by the end, there were no more barriers or awkwardness, just genuine connection and shared joy. Huge thanks for your incredible commitment!
Thursday’s weather called for flexibility, and we delivered: Instead of being on the pitch, our teams took part in a darts and bowling challenge – with the results counting toward the final team scores. The focus, joy, and team spirit were just as strong indoors as they would have been outside!
A very special thank you goes to the students of MPS and to Carletto AG for the lovely game night and guided tour on Thursday – real inclusion, lived together.
Friday evening gave us an emotional and beautiful closing: Thank you so much to all the Walking Footballers who joined us – it was a wonderful evening full of connection and shared passion.
Massive thanks to our partners: ISZL, MPS Ingenbohl, Carletto AG – and to all helpers, supporters, and of course the unstoppable FIM Family.
This camp once again proved: Inclusion isn’t a project – it’s a mindset. And together, we can live it – come rain or shine.
