The Special Adventure Camp Liechtenstein returns in 2025 – a week-long, international gathering that puts inclusion into action through the universal language of sport.
Organised by the FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation, the camp will bring together over 120 children and young people with disabilities from across Europe with local school classes, young athletes, Walking Football teams and community members from Liechtenstein and the surrounding region.
From 1 to 6 September 2025, various locations in Schaan, Eschen and Vaduz will become vibrant spaces of exchange, empathy and shared experience – where difference is not just accepted, but celebrated.

What will happen during the week?
The Special Adventure Camp combines sport, education and social interaction in a way that is both meaningful and joyful:
Inclusive Football Trainings: Each day, international Special Needs Teams train together with young local athletes under the guidance of experienced coaches. These sessions focus not only on tactics and technique, but on cooperation, communication and mutual respect.
School Partnerships & Workshops: Together with the Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium and the Schulzentrum Unterland, pupils will take part in workshops and inclusive sport activities designed to raise awareness for diversity, fairness and inclusion in daily life.
Public Inklusion Talk: During the week there will be a public event in the Gemeindesaal Eschen, where invited guests and the community will reflect on inclusion, youth empowerment and the unifying power of sport.
Walking Football Festival on the Lindaplatz: In the centre of Schaan, people of all ages – with and without disabilities – will come together in a lively tournament featuring Walking Football, street food, music and games. This family-friendly event is open to everyone and invites the public to experience inclusion first-hand.
Joint Meals and Evening Activities: Each day ends with a shared meal and informal gatherings, creating opportunities for conversations, friendship and fun across language, culture and ability.
A week that changes perspectives
More than a football camp, the Special Adventure Camp is a catalyst for inclusion. It enables young people to experience how diversity strengthens communities, how sport builds bridges, and how mutual understanding can be learned through play.
The FOOTBALL IS MORE Foundation, together with schools, municipalities, local partners and international organisations, is building a platform for lasting impact – in education, in sport, and in society.
